SIP rain jacket, time to treat. Tips?

Hi Buzz,
I've been wearing the SIP rain jacket for the previous 2 seasons, and they were some of the driest I've known.
Rain is here now and I'm wet. Thinking of giving one of the nikwax style wash-in re-waterproofing deals. I've never used this stuff before, but I really like the jacket. Being a little wet in October is ok, but not so fun in December and January.
Mahalos for any tips

Jesse you are a badass then. At least we have wool. Lots of wool. Thanks Steve and Tom, I'll do some more clicking around and check out a few things. Was thinking . Of picking up a Patagonia jacket for their bomber return policy

I've used Nik Wax products on hard shell jackets and pants. Great product line

I hate to say this, but I've used Nikwax on a Grundens Storm jacket ... and was disappointed. It made 0 difference in waterproofness :/

Hard shell product, not the best piece of gear by any means but I hoped the Nikwax would help me get one more season out of it. Not a chance, there's no beading, jacket just soaks up water.
