175 Ton Knuckleboom

I swear if the average guy on the street saw that picture they wouldn't believe it was real. Even after seeing tons of Kboom pics on the buzz, they still seem to defy physics. Or maybe they scoff at physics right before they spit in its face and leave it bleeding in a ditch?

What an awesome tool.

both cranes are still doing great.....had to have a stabilizer cylinder repacked this summer. BIG THANKS TO ART LUCAS!!! he drove it out to me after they repacked the seals! ive been lurking and seeing some really nice photo/vid in the crane section here!!! Good work buzzbros and bro-ettes!DSC_0168.webp

yeah Mark I had to short the stabilizers on the house side. The far side of the tree was 2 houses away (half of this lot plus all the way across the neighbors lot and reached halfway across the lot behind that one.)DSC_0205.webp

Great photo's, makes me want to go and buy one. I was able to save 2500 dollars this year. You think that would be enough for the down payment:envidioso What is the reach on that K Boom?

I enjoy this thread like I enjoy listening to my friend's dating exploits. As much as I would love having this splendiferous machine, I couldn't imagine the insurance, upkeep, repairs, and stress of having a 600k kboom. I'm a happy home body.
Please keep posting pics for the guys like me.

Hell yeah!

No, actually I agree with Gorman above. I'd rather just rent out someone like Mike Poor, if there's someone even remotely like him in our town. That dude does some pretty spectacular work.
Yeah, you're right, my friend Nich (niceviews) has an Effer in town here plus my regular stick crane guy is an incredible operator.
