YOUNG climber trainees!

My son is 6. They love to Liquidamber because there's always ammo/ sweet gum balls to throw at dad!

When my nieces were really little Jim and I would wear shoulder harnesse and put them in their full body harnesses. then we'd clip their chest to ours and head up into the tree. They would sit on our tummies for the most part.

After we were up a little the groundie would grab the rope and spin us. I can still see T's big eyes and wild laughs.

Never too early to climb.

Kids like your's won't fall victim to the 'No Child Left Outside' syndrom!

Cool pics!! Gotta love getting kids in trees. We have five. All of them climb.

That is cool, they do look pretty comfortable in the tree.
I have a daughter 6, and a son 4, what gear do you use for them? Just curious, hard to say if they would like it or not, might hafe to try when their mother is away.

Hafe they got a ride on the crane yet?

Hey Nick, You're absolutely right about the helmet! She threw it off when she got down to the last limb. Here's a photo of her with it on the same climb! Thanks for the comments everyone. They do love climbing and I wish I had more time to go with them. Another few years and they'll take off up the tree w/o me! I'll try to post more photos sometime. Hey WP, they use kids rock climb belt and they have been up the crane in the basket.

Cool! Thanks Mike.

I kind of forgot it is fun to climb trees. The kids wanted to watch me climb a tree, so I did, no deadlines, no pressure, no saws.....it was fun. It is easy to forget that when there is money involved.
