hey buzzers, I could use your help. I want to compile a video from video clips and still photos from people around the world using the X-Rigging Rings.
I will throw in some of our rigging work too, but would love to show other people using them.
So many of you are using them and love them, just get some pictures or video would ya ? !

Send pictures using email. Video is easiest to send via something like Google Drive (a free external storage thing; incredibly easy to use). Either one, you just send it to my email. XtremeArborist(at)yahoo.com put in the @ symbol for (at) though. title the email as REVOLUTION VIDEO so I'm sure to open and save it.

Also state your NAME, COMPANY NAME (if you want), and WORKING LOCATION (example, Maryland, USA). And I will put those things in Text right on the video or picture clip.

I have an excellent song to go with it and with your help we can have a really killer video compilation.

Pick out your best clips and/or photos and send them, please. Even if it's only ONE photo. The song and video is not going to work unless I have a LOT of entries.

you people that have been contacting me on the side saying that you are sending video and pictures. Can you state it here so that others know who will be in the video? AND that people are sending entries to me.

It's going to be REALLY good I think. Be a part of the Revolution video !

You don't have to have an excellent camera, it can likely even be a cell phone picture.

Send me some rings X and I'll get ya some vid :)
I'm sad to say I don't have any yet but they'll be one of my next purchases for sure.

did you know that it comes out to about 3% of all the people I've sent rings and sling samples to ever give back any feedback to the public on social media; when most of all of them promised that they would? I never say, hey, I'll give you some XRR slings to try out if you put out video. I'm saying, that when I've given samples away, the people THEN state that they will put out a video or pictures; they say that on their own.

Sure, they text me, send me emails and tell me in person all the time that they use them frequently and love them. But they seem to forget that they mentioned to me that they would put out a video or pictures of them in use.

It's just human nature, nothing against me or the rings. Other product suppliers have told me they see the same results and most of them don't want to give away product anymore. It adds up.

This is a great idea, David. I'm sure it'll take some time. Have you thought of a cut off date or something? We're all waiting for those special jobs for great footage...can think of a few myself. ;)I know the editing can be hard work, so if you have a release date in mind you could work backwards from there...

David I attempted to send some still photos today but they were returned with a cryptic error message. I will try again tomorrow after a good night's rest with hopefully better results. No patience this evening but the rings made a job that no one in the area would touch go pretty smooth. Thanks for such a great product and all the time you've devoted to educating your fellow buzzers!!!! I appreciate the opportunity to giving a little something back. Best wishes to you on this project!

Good question.
I don't have an official cut off date I guess, but I'd like to get it done in the next month. Worst case, two months.
People have been sending still pictures and some video.
I have the introduction, 1 minute worth of the video completed now.
The video will only work really well if I get LOTS of people contributing.
Here is your chance to get in an X-TreeM video production.

Like I said, your name, company name and location info will be shown in text on the video segment while it's playing.

It's going to be really cool for this video to travel around the world, jumping to the next person in the film.

I just need your help though. I need footage sent to me.

ha ha ha ha, okay, if you can make the pictures work, send them. LOL. might include you.

Getting some good pics and video today, btw. but need more.

Really important to get entries from around the world. Got some from Italy today.

It's okay that the USA will have more entries, (please send them USA people !) going to be really cool to see all the locations progress around the globe.

I have to work on a video. I'll have to talk my wife into helping me load it. But my xrr slings are definitely my go to slings.

XRR Review

I have had my rings for a couple years now. My first was a 3/4” tenex ring to ring friction saver, with one large ring and one beast ring. This sling almost took over the job of 3 or 4 other slings completely. You never complete rule out the others but 9 out of 10 times it’s great.
The light weight and strength of these slings make them inviting to climb with. Blocks are heavy to climb around with and tails are long enough to cow hitch while the shorter sling in a basket is stronger.
I use the remote removable feature as often as possible.

Second sling is a 10’ 3/4” tenex sling with a single beast ring. I personally use this sling less than the first sling, but it still has practically as many uses as a block and sling. Again lighter to climb with but I don’t use it for anything more than redirects or small loads as the single rings are not meant as a terminal rigging point, but still a very useful sling.

For anyone who hasn't went to the Xrrs yet they are definitely a good solid worth whir investment and you'll find yourself using them more and more.
Thank you to David for his time and work to bring us these rings.

Casey, sorry, I didn't check back to this thread till now. No, I can't pull from youtube; or not well. That was a tall thin bugga !

really easy to send using something like google drive.

It's free and I've been using for 6 months now with no problems transferring video and pictures back and forth to friends.

https://www.google.com/drive/

the email I use associated with google drive is TheXManJDD(at)yahoo(dot)com just put in the @ and .

Okay people, getting down to the wire, want to get this done by the end of this month I hope.

Here is the SHORT LIST of the people that sent in video and pictures and will be in the video so far:
Lawrence Schultz of New York.
Adam Bourne in the United Kingdom.
Deven Hutton in Ontario Canada.
Giorgio Fiori in Italy.
Levi Rocket (one photo) from Colorado.
Ace Tree in Australia.

That is a really short list people. The video won't work with it that short and I won't even do it if I can't get more submitting. Come on, how hard is it? You don't have to do any editing. Just send a few pictures and possibly a couple short video clips.

here is a few that said they will send footage but have NOT yet:whistle::
August Hunicke
Glen and Jake Riggs
TreeLogic
Oceans
John Uselding

Tom and Stihlmadd, your stuff likely going out tomorrow.

Kevin S, you got any photos or vid?

Andre (ClimbHighLetEmFly) didn't you send me some video?

Anyone else?
