It will be held on August 19th which is held with the summer conference. Location will be announced later.

I will be there and competing (Third year in a row)...and let me tell you if we get good weather this will be a great year.

So mark your calendars.

Look to the WAA website for sign up information. Might not be there for awhile though. I will keep checking and once I see the sign up sheets I will be sure to post the link on here.

That I am unsure of. I know they have a limit like said. Don't take my word or it but if there is room they let out of staters. Call our climbing chair and ask him. I think there is some contact information.

Hey Rangerdanger...if you are interisted in the WAA comp, you better get on the ball now. There is a limited amount, primarly because gear, prelims and masters are on the same day.Your contact is a few replys above mine..I will see you guys there..Stay safe..Get High..Climbing that is.

Thanks for the Vote matt but I am not too sure about that...I have a long way to go to get to that level

Well Casey, how did you do? You took the tbrowball event didn't you? What else did you win? I had to leave early so i didn't get to see too much after lunch.

No I didn't take the throwball...point deductions for stuck throwball and not calling a "stand clear" (totally spaced it)

Had a tough rest of the day. Timed out on aerial rescue and footlock...just not in shape yet. (I footlocked up in the aerial rescue as well and I was just tired) Timed out as I hit the ground with the dummy.

Work climb isn't fast enough yet as well as speed climb. Wasnt happy with myself at the end of the day.

Maybe next year I can amp it up a little.

Joe won with Aaron Schauer tacking second and Andrew (forgot his last name...starts with an "S" I believe) took 3rd. He was DQed in the Masters because he took a swing and his handsaw popped out.

Good job Casey. You should be proud. I can't imagine that it's easy to compete against those guys.
