eBay should give some purchase protection as well as PayPal. If you’re worried pay with a credit card instead of cash. More purchase protection. Pretty amazing deal of its legit
 
The account has been open for 16 years, that’s a good sign. I don’t do much on eBay either, but have a good rating.

I think you got the bike for what its worth. Not a big market for track only bikes, and an even smaller one for a custom class bike. I'm sure it cost some money to build but not a big demand for these.
 
If you haven't worked out shipping yet check out roadtrackandtrail.com They hare a huge used dealer near me and offer reasonable nationwide bike transport, or uship.com Because of the distance my guess is no one on uship will be able to compete with road track and trails price.
 
Carl this bike was built around the motor as a race bike, trust me 240# and 62 horse with a tuned suspension is going to be a rocket ship. My son Woody is getting into riding and we have been going to track days, I cannot wait to get this out there. I guarantee you this bike cost north of 20 maybe even 30 to build...
