WAA 2010 Climbing Comp

Talked to Mike Wendt today and he said that the comp is scheduled for the second friday in august...which would be friday the 13th...in milwaukee...he told me the park but i forget it. Maybe someone could put that info in

It is called Mitchell park in Milwaukee. It is behind the domes.

Take exit 309B for 26th St/St Paul Ave
Keep left at the fork, follow signs for St Paul Ave W/27th St/Mitchell Domes
Turn left at W St Paul Ave
Turn left at N 27th St
Continue onto S Layton Blvd
Turn left at W Evergreen Ln

Evergreen is the entrance to the park, from there turn left and head around the domes.

I have seen the trees and it looks like its gonna shape up to be a good comp. Masters tree is amazing... nuff said

Learned today that the comp will be held on august 13th or 14th. which sucks cause me and my wife are goin camping in Peninsula state park for 6 days.

I was looking forward to this... bummer, duty calls.... in a tent
