Vote !

Specially in Hudson County, NJ!

George is a brilliant social commentator. Caustic, but he does turn the light on ourselves. And I do tend to agree with him on this point. I just wonder is there a threshold of low voter turnout that would invalidate the elections and lead to a real change?

Maine turned out 54% of the registered voters, Minnesota was 52%.

Take a look:

http://www.usnews.com/news/blogs/da...eep-dive-voter-turnout-varies-widely-by-state

Texas was 26%

I was able to register in the primary election in MN with just my North Carolina driver's license and signing an oath that MN is now my residence. Not a big push to overhaul voter registration here...there is in Texas. I know there is some sort of connection in all of this...I'm struggling to find it.

I chose not to vote in the first Obama election because I did not like McCain and I am a Vet. I also was totally on board with it being far overdue for a black pres. but I did not like what I heard about Obama. Figured he'd win anyway. Maybe similar thoughts leaning to voter indifference.

I am very very impressed I did not get canned yet.

Hadn't heard of Mr Carson until now but I like him already! Wasn't sure what you were talking about treevet :) Now i understand.

Register Libertarian and run for office if you want to make a real change.

humper, sorry but if people voted against incumbents so much they wouldn't have such an easy time getting back in!

I liked McCain in 2004 but dirty tricks sunk him when he was in his prime.

Is this overflow material?

I always try to vote for trees but they were not really on the ballot this time. But I think overall trees lost this time around

With Obama, America put into the White House a sulky narcissist with close links to people with a history of thuggish, far-left, black power, Jew-bashing, west-hating politics. In his autobiography, Obama himself described his mentor, the communist agitator Frank Marshall Davis, as being a promoter of black power; in 1995 Obama went on the Million Man March organised by the black power activist and radical antisemite Louis Farrakhan; for twenty years, Obama belonged to a church whose pastor, Jeremiah Wright, peddled antisemitic conspiracy theories, denounced black assimilation into white society and in June 2009 claimed that Jews were controlling Obama.
