I will be hosting a tree stuff gear party in May. Probably saturday the 13th someplace in Norfolk VA. Working on some great trees to climb.Stay tuned for details. Any industry who's who wanna make an appearance and come do some rec climbing?

Whenever I see these things I picture beers scattered throughout the trees and you just wander around hanging with your buds having buds - literally. Is that what you are thinking?

I'm making a note of it too Steve. Funny thing is we're usually down in Knott's Island in June/July. So close and so far away. I may even have to stay home this year to run the show and let the Mrs. take the trip for her kid.

Steve - Do we need further direction? That address takes you to a wooded lot between Foreman Field and WHRO-TV.

It's on the Williamsburg lawn. That's the admin building directly across from whro. They are the oldest oaks on the property magnificent location. I think it's the first building erected on campus

Google maps shows a block called "Brick Field" at that intersection, or are you talking about the next block due south? I've been to Norfolk hundreds of times, and I have LEAN certification from ODU, but I've never been to their campus

No. Rite on the southwest corner of Hampton and bolling. Infeont of brick house field.

Looks like a good location with on-street parking. Plus, FantomWorks (Velocity TV show) is just down the street. TWO great reasons for me to attend!
