UT Campus Tree Tour planting 10/30

Larry Maginnis at the University of Texas has arranged a volunteer planting to commemorate Arbor Day Foundation's Campus Tree Tour 2008. See link for other locations, though I am not sure if the date is the same everywhere. Ours is at the UT campus Thursday, Oct. 30, starting about noon. We will be planting about 70 trees in a median between campus and the freeway. Hope to see you there!

I saw them digging the holes yesterday with an augur. Good thing, too, since it appears they punched through a layer of road base.
