Trees from a distance

I can picture TL sitting at a desk in his man cave surrounded by tree id books and bits of rope. He has a large computer screen with the picture of some unknown species of tree, from who knows where, staring a hole right through him. Why, because he knows that he has seen this tree before and he won't be able to sleep for a week if Old Q. gets it before he does. Just then a soft female voice tells him that it is dinner time, "Oh No!" he thinks he might be away from his computer long enough for some one else to guess the correct answer. He is rather peckish though, after all that climbing it feels like there is a little man in his stomach making a chain saw carving out of his stomach lining. Just then it hits him! he knows exactly what tree it is, well at least the common name. He was pruning one a month ago, in fact he can remember the distinctly pungent yet sweet smell it made as he carefully spaced out the branches. TL rapidly flips through The Sibley Guide to Trees as the seconds are ticking. It doesn't take him long because he pretty much has the location of every genus memorized. "Honey your dinner is growing cold," yells his wife. Logic checks the clock, "Just a minute this is really important, I'll be right there". He is cautiously typing now because he knows that if he misspells it he will be shamed by the lurking Tom. At last he clicks the post reply button with a smirk. Take that Old Q. and off to dinner he goes. :tanguero::risas2:
