Trail Cam and Wildlife Thread

The botanical garden I work at is on the edge of a valley above a wetland so we get lots of turtle activity during nesting season. Sometimes they get in unsafe situations and on extremely rare occasions I have to physically move one (this was the second time ever, the previous time was carrying a snapping turtle across a road in the direction it was heading)

never saw her, it was a gong show as the parking lot has a trailhead on the other end which gets plenty of visitation through the day so a bigger and bigger crowd was gathering to watch these animals, people were stopping at the side of the road and yelling at me from their vehicles 'LOOKS LIKE YOU MADE SOME FRIENDS!', I got out of there as soon as the department contact who handles out of place wildlife showed up to take over. I believe he just trapped them, waited for the crowd to get bored and disperse and then released them a few feet past the treeline where we first encountered them when no-one was around

So, there are a bazillion wildlife vids on the net, this one elicited the most yelps from me as I watched. Yes its 8 minutes long and I FFd here and there but, wow, I would call it very gripping.

I've had a pair of Red Shoulder hawks nest in my back yard about 50 or 60 feet from my back porch for the last 3 years. I would love to put a camera on the nest. We also have a family of Barred Owls nesting on back in the woods. They are hilarious when a group of them start to laugh.
