Tragic loss

One of our local tree service owners was shot and killed by his neighbor over a property dispute Monday afternoon. He started his business last year after working for several local companies. He leaves behind his girlfriend and their 3 week old son. He was 29 years old.

Just got my November TCI magazine and in the Accident Briefs section there are two incidents of violence on the job. One an assault and one a shooting. Seems to be a trend towards violence happening. Be safe everyone be cool headed.

That’s horrible. My deepest condolences to all who knew him, I’m so sorry.

In all likelihood, this is two lives completely wasted, and also a child who will have a harder life with much less love, protection, and guidance.
Heartbreaking, it truly is.

I wish people were nicer to each other.
It’s my mantra; don’t hurt anyone ever, don’t hurt anyone ever, don’t hurt anyone ever. I have a temper too, and I hate that about myself. I’ll have a little internal dialogue with myself if I’m angry. “ what are you gonna do about it? Is this a reasonable reaction? What’s the endgame? Am I escalating shit and making things worse?”
