Toro STX-38 stump grinder...any good?

The local rental companies do not carry stump grinders but the Home Depot thirty miles away has the Toro STX-38 for what seems like a reasonable price. It's powered by a 38HP Kohler gas engine. Have any of you had any experience with this machine?

They're.... Ok. For a rental. If you're using it every day you probably wouldn't like it, once in a while until you get your own unit, sure.

That size engine with hydraulic drive means it’ll do the job, but at a leisurely pace.
Teeth are critical on machines like that.

I like this machine and have used it for some big stumps. I rent it as well as the smaller 26hp often. They both come with Greenteeth. The mechanic at the rental shop complains that it is a pain to repair, but I have only had one hydraulic failure on site
