timberland trucks

Not sure if this is the right place, but has anyone ever purchased a truck from this company? They are located in New Jersey.
We are looking to buy one of their knuckleboom/chip trucks. It has a removable top and the grapple tucks behind the cab.
Any input would be great on this subject!

The bodies are made in Toronto at a place called Palmac Manufacturing. They do really well on those trucks. Buy really cheap in the states somewhere, ship up here fab and install the bodies, buy the loaders from auctions cheap, sandblast and paint and sell 'em down there. They get enough more for them down there that they are resistant to selling them up here.

They seem to be high priced for mileage and accessories.

Some of them seem to have some wierd wheel bases (whatever they can find, moving van chassis)

Some of those light single axle trucks with bodies and loaders seem like they would be close to overwieght with just a small load.

Shop wisely.

I believe they were called Atlantic Fabricating a year or two ago. We purchased our log truck from them in 2000 and it is working great. I dont know why they changed their name. We had to replace some hydraulic lines for the hiab boom that were old and cracked, repaint the dump body, and replace the outrigger control valve. When we purchased the truck they said they fabricated the body and installed the boom on site. Hope this helps.
