thoughts on this 2013 f750? under cdl

looking at a UNDER CDL 2013 F750 6.7 diesel 120k miles....The truck has a chip body and a mini skid platform.

Would a truck like this be able to handle a full load of chips (10-12yards) + chipper + the miniskid on the platform? ~

What do you all think a truck like this should be worth? Anything else I should consider? I have a drive very far to go look at it so could use any advice!

Thanks

I don't know that truck specifically but I used to have a similar sized truck that was a bucket truck with a chip box that pulled a 12" chipper. It did fine and had a 366 gas engine in it. It wasn't fast but it did the job. I imagine the boom and all additional components and hydro fluid weighed more than a mini skid and the diesel should have more power.

Automatic or manual? The most important thing is the rear gear ratio. If it’s a high gear like 5:29 it will be a dog. It if is, changing the ratio to over 7:00 would give it grunt and pulling power. It won’t go over 55 but that’s okay. I have an international 4900 with a 3000 series Allison auto with 7:14 rear and it is a puller.

I have a 750 derated to 26,000 with a V10 and a 1472 chip box (20 yards of chips)iit pulls a 18r chipper that weighs 15k lbs.
It does well but is a flatlander truck.

Great truck almost zero problems 8 years later
We only put 10k miles a year on that truck

Is it the 7.0 liters that had lots of problems? I think that is what the company had in a 650 platform. EGR replaced at least once. We sent it on down the road before other serious problems. It was leaking a small amount of coolant…

6speed manual but wish it had a low low gear. 1st was a bear to get going on a hill full. The clutch suffered from that
