The TX chapter is having their 2015 ITCC qualifier Saturday Oct 4th. Because ITCC has been decoupled from the annual ISA conference for 2015 and 2016, and will be held in March next year, Texas has to have two comps this year in order to have an ITCC rep before March 2015.
In order to not tax our great volunteer staff and chapter budget, we decided this would be accomplished by having a Master's only competition to choose the 2015 rep, and only those who scored at least 50% of the maximum preliminary event points in our May competition would qualify. Not an ideal solution, but our chapter could not afford to do two full blown comps in one year. I'm guessing many chapters are in this same position.
This gives us 5 contestants, including Crazy Jimmy, of course! Best of luck!
