Terratree

I blocked them from my email server so I wouldn't get their spam any more. That was a couple months ago, I guess they are spamming again? Too much hassle buying from other countries. Even buying from Canada is a pain, not worth the shipping charges and wait times. If something needs to be returned, it could easily eat up any 'savings' from 4-5 orders.

When was the last time you ordered something from Canada? It all depends on the supplier, we have the ability to ship overnight too. Contrary to popular American opinion Canadians do not live in igloos, use dog sleds.................etc
 
I have had mail from them as well somehow they have got hold of peoples mail addresses from this web site.

The people who have recieved mail from them do you have your mail address posted in your profile this is the most likely way they have got them.If not someone has managed to get in to the sites Files!!!!!
In the case of Terratree it seems they are harmless junkmails but it does pose a question on the seucrity...

I assure you, no one has ever had access to any info that you don't give them access to. We have never even been asked for our email lists, in fact we don't even do any in-house mass mailings. I personally hate solicitation.
 
Terratree advertises some usable stuff. If any1 has done business with them, with or without problems, please post your comments here.

Hi Mark I thought it unlikely that anyone had got them from the internal mailing list.Someone has been through the profiles and got them from there.
I'm am going to remove my mail address from my profile as other companies may do the same thing in future

Here is a round about way to maybe get an answer for you.

You could go to Pro Climber which is a discussion forum in Wales. See if you can find people's emails and write directly to them. It would be pretty poor form to post on Caroline's website since she is a vendor. You should check out her wares. She's coming over for TCI and she might be able to bring the booty and UPS it from B'more.

What caught your eye at Terratree?

I get TWO emails from Terratree when they send them. Both to the same account. They seem to have good prices but haven't ordered from overseas.
 
Thanks Tom. I'd rather go the route of the open forums 1st. Maybe the bbb online next. Since nothing is being said here, I'll forget about them.

What catches my eye? Bargains at the right time.
