In the market for a new batch of T's. Looking for something along the lines of UnderArmor...I guess a Tech Shirt, I don't know. Something lightweight, not all-cotton, wicks away sweat, and that I can order in bulk and have screenprinted.

What are your favorites? Keep in mind our summers are brutal, with award winning humidity.

I think someone suggested them on here awhile back but I really like the badger tech t's, I have a bunch of the safety yellow ones, long and short sleeve. I thought they were a pretty good deal price-wise. They are a bit on the light side so I usually where a merino wool, or poly pro shirt underneath when its colder outside.

badgers look good. How are the lighter colors when it comes to dirt/stains? I like the yellow but it seems like it'd get dirty. and are the sizes pretty standard?

I'm sure the arborwear are top notch and i love their pants. but I can't see buying shirts for the crew for $25/shirt, and then getting our logos on them. thanks though.

Where are you guys getting them?

Any online print places you have experience with?

I bought blank arborwear techs and how those done in the past. But we changed our name because of too many insurance claims (kidding of course), and need some new ones made.

I buy mine from a local company, that buys them from s and s activeware. If I didnt have to where the hi vis yellow at work I would buy a different color because its damn near impossible for me to keep them looking decent for any amount of time. So if you can get away with a different color I would recommend it.

That's what I figured, Graham. Thanks. Gonna go order me some Badgers now...

I go with badgersport as well. They have a lot of no cotton options. Just called my t-shirt guy and they are being made. I bought a couple different styles.

Can't get the picture to load. Seems like TreeBuzz has had this problem lately.

It was a picture of our shirts, the Badger Tech T's

Anyone try those dus-t shirts that have a turtleneck that pulls out into a face mask? Saw them on the history channel awhile back and kind of want to try one.

I stopped at a local print shop this morning. He's going to look into those badgers for me.

What are you guys who had them made, paying per shirt vs quantity? Not sure what to expect...

This was the best I could find. Got tired of searching. If someone knows of a better deal, would love to hear it.

I asked about sizes earlier but nobody responded. Don't you guys think they run a little big? They're definitely the feel I was looking for. Just kinda long, which is not necessarily a bad thing with climbing. Nothing's worse than when your shirt comes untucked from your saddle and you get twigs down in your waist band.

I just orderedd twelve ($135.31 which included $15.55 in shipping). I'm gonna ask my printer if he'll print shirts I bring to him. If he says no, I'm just gonna get a screen print starter kit. Around $200.

we had these shirts a while back, I'm using hand me downs from a few years ago, and they make all the difference when its hot compared to cotton.

As for sizing, I wear large normally, and I have a few med and a few larges, they both feel fine. If you are over 200 lbs I would say definitely large or xl though.

Yeah, I wear large too but with certain shirts a medium fits better. This might be one of them. But I don't want to look like I'm wearing a smedium

Cotton is pretty rough in our summer heat. It gets so drenched that it doesn't even breathe. Feels like a heat stroke is comin' on if you don't get out of it. These tech type shirts dry out and breathe so much better. You can wear them all day.

I think a collared logo'ed shirt is worth the small amount extra to pay to look a little more refined. Air (hot) escapes better out of the neck with a button up than a high neck t shirt too imo. I always get dark colors (navy, dk green, black) and although it absorbs heat more, you don't look dirty or sweaty on the job which can look a little common and pitiful I think. You are gonna sweat you ascs off in the big heat no matter what hi tec gimmick you buy.

treevet, I'm sure you've been doing this a long time bro! And I could learn a lot from you. Hell, you could probably WEAVE a T Shirt out of wisteria and virginia creeper. But I'll tell ya right now, the wicking shirts are no gimmick. I wear them playing golf and I've worn them in the trees. They make a difference. Not sure about up there in Ohio, but sweat doesn't evaporate very well down here in 100% humidity. When sweat evaporates, your natural air conditioning system works properly. Here, with a cotton shirt, it's null and void...actually worse!

And I just can't wear a POLO shirt in the tree. Maybe it's a weird pet-peeve but I just can't...
