North Central Alabama, just south of Birmingham. Being named after a vacuum cleaner, you'd think Hoover sucks, but it's a pretty decent place. I'm especially fond of the free garbage pickup, twice a week. And they'll come pick up almost anything that's not hazardous material if you call and can get it to the curb.
