Register yourself and your staff NOW for FREE* Electrical Hazards Training
workshops presented by TCIA! All necessary EHAP program materials,
including 85-pg manual and testing, will be included at no cost.
The Electrical Hazards Awareness Program, or EHAP, from TCIA is a training
program that employers can use in conjunction with documented on-the-job
skills training and assessment to assure the competency of their employees
to work safely around conductors and meet OSHA and ANSI safety requirements
for arboricultural operations. EHAP workshops allow large groups to
be trained and fulfill many of the EHAP program’s requirements in one day.
For more information about the EHAP program,
visit www.tcia.org and click the Safety tab.

I just attended the EHAP in Tucson taught by none other than Tom D who did an excellent job!
Great powerpoint, excellent presentation, and the "bad a$$ texas rabbit" was classic

Definately learned some stuff and good to have the EHAP training manual. (6 ceus too)
I really wanted to get off electricity and talk about climbing, srt, etc, but I guess it wasn't the time or place.

It was great to meet you Tom and thanks for being an arboriculture role-model, this industry is lucky to have you. I hope you don't judge AZ just from Tucson (it stinks down there) lol.

Mark are there still openings for this class? Do you have to be a current TCIA member to attend?

I don't have any new info. Did you try to contact them as directed in the flyer? Or, maybe Tom can add something since he will be the presenter again?

The only limits that there has been for other EHAPs is the size of the room. To me, 1 or 1,000...no difference.

Get registered, I'll have TB helmet stickers for anyone who wants them.

Just got off the phone with Cheryl at TCIA, we're registered! See you on the 17th Tom. We'll be leaving for the Crane/Chipper workshop in about a half hour.

Just registered online for the New Brunswick seminar but the site requires a credit card for a zero dollar transaction. hmmmmmmmmm.....

I think I paid 16.50, for lunch I guess.

I think it was $13.50 a piece for lunch but you are getting the EHAP book for free which is around $85. without the class! Your getting about a $200. deal for free and only having to pay $13.50 for lunch so it's a pretty good bargain. Hopefully there will be more of these grants to help with more free seminars.
