Tarzan and Jane\'s \'Boy\' dies...really

A few years ago I bought a set of Tarzan DVDs. After watching them in order I was taken by how much my life outlook was formed by Tarzan's philosophy.

When he and Jane found Boy I was envious. What a place to grow up and live!

Johnny Sheffield died...after falling from a ladder while pruning palms. He was 79.

Johnny Weismueller was Tarzan like Sean Connery was James Bond.

Tom,
You've reminded me of watching that show and how much I wanted to live in the jungle, swinging through the trees. Those of us in a certain age cohort must have shared a lot of similar influences.

I bought the second series of Tarzan movies when he was with RKO. The one where he fought the Nazis was always a favorite. They did NOT follow Tarzan's rules on the escarpment.

That is so cool he'd die that way. I wonder if he did a lot of tree climbing.

I know it's not proper and pushing the limits but I can't stop imagining the sound. AhuhuhAaaaaaaaa.
