We all can't be Reg I definitely ain't, even though he is a rigging genius, but your video was lovely. Very nice job all around looks like jolly good England. Will be there next week for Xmas with the family. Keep up the good work. Again keep sharing.Paul.

I thought that was a great video! Nice and professional. Seems like alot of English climbers use the Spiderjack or lockjack. Is that the case or do a large percentage still use rope on rope friction? Thanks for the video!

Not a giant but still required lowering because of its position. I had my experience climber running the rope and showing the newbie how to do it. I made sure i got to a safe climbing position just incase he didn't let it run. Anyway nothing compared to a Reg video but thought id share it.

Hey all,

Firstly thanks for the kind replies.

I think the general movement in the UK seems to be moving towards lower friction climbing systems, pulleysavers and Spiderjack combo for instance. The Rope Wrench is also seeming to be becoming big as more people are using SRT to access the tree now, then switch over to DRT.

Thanks again

Ian
