Sudden oak death found in Minnesota—-first gindt

Hopefully since they caught it in the nursery, infected trees have not spread into the landscape. I assume the Dept of Ag will be trying to figure out where the other oak trees from the fields near the infected tree are now.

Haven't hear much about this pest for several years. There was a scare probably 15 or more years ago from other nursery stock that was shipped to the midwest from the west coast, but that was also caught early.
