Looking for another small but quality tree service to help us out with our workload. WE are really behind schedule.

If you are out of Virginia, PA or NJ and your work load is a little slow, you can drive here and we will set you up with jobs.

I don't have time to fine detail write this, so I'm going to write what comes to mind...

Looking for a 2 to 3 man crew. minimum, 10 yard dumping chip truck and minimum a 12" chipper.

I want quality, well educated and very safe, thoughtful people or It's not worth it. Dependable too.

One person on the crew should be an ISA Certified Arborist.

Pay you $50 per man. You supply equipment and your insurance covers your actions and workmans comp.

You do not bid on the jobs, I've already done the leg work. just show up in the morning, i will take you to most jobs or at least go over the work order ahead of time.

I would like a minimum of two days a week at least, OR as much as Monday to Friday if you wished.

IF you are efficient enough and we have a good working relationship, this can continue through the whole winter if you wish... and then some.

Likely 80% tree removals, 20% trims, but will put you where your strong points are. Right now, lots of big removals on the plate, we can work on several of the same jobs together as well, so our crane, asv loader and large chipper can help.

IF you have bigger equipment than the minimal I stated and know how to get things done efficiently, we will adjust pay higher.

Also possibly looking for individuals as well, no room for beginners right now though, must be a seasoned veteran groundperson or excellent climber.

PM me here (but gets full often and rejected) or text my cell phone 443 807-3665. or write the company e-mail address: mail(at)arborx.com (Put in the @ symbol of course.)

Thanks,

Sounds like you are asking a lot for the rate you are offering. Good luck, we have needed what u are looking for but haven't been able make it work, without compromising on quality, WC is a tough one too most smaller outfits don't carry it.

If a smaller tree service actaully took all the jobs they did over a certain amount of time and divided it by the hours involved in all of those jobs, it would likely be less than $50 per man hour with that equipment.

We owners or salesman bid on jobs, we sometimes overestimate (but don't get those often) or underestimate (likely get those). If it is a very experienced salesman/owner, they often get it right on. So, even if you are bidding a job at $80 a man hour or so, you might not actually produce that over a period of time with the messed up low bids or the unknown thing that happened or equipment breakdown, whatever.

$50 per man, might sound low at first, but a steady $150 an hour for a three man crew really adds up. Especially considering no one had to advertise, meet the customer and win the approval of the estimate or even spend time to set up the work date.

If anyone is considering this, keep track of what you gross and what you net right now with your own work. Then come here and compare it to the days when you work here. Try it out for a week or two. I think you will find that working here on jobs already set up and getting paid for actual hours on the job is a good deal. No obligation to stick with it, try it out for a week or two.

IF you are efficient and consistantly get things done as I estimated, I would be more than happy to raise the rate you get paid.

Hope all makes sense, really long days.... for like.... I don't know 5 or 6 weeks now? Try to get some things done in office late at night.

thanks,
