How strict are the judges when it comes to tying off an srt line at the base of the tree for the masters challenge? Would they allow a method where you wrap the line around the trunk and then clip a friction hitch back onto that line? theres a pic of a similar setup on another post, cant remember which.

If I ever am included in that decision making process I would not have any problem with a Trunk Wrap tie off. There would need to be enough wrapping friction in order to allow any ground rescue even by a rescuer that isn't familiar with belaying/lowering.
