Dam you really loving that Rope Runner.
Might have to get one seeing the Akimbo didn't work out for me.
Did you run a bone?

Need anything in trade?

I have today's lunch leftovers, saw chips in my pockets, some Escalator that I haven't used, that I bought from Ray Rockett, new or essentially new, wood chips, since you don't have a chipper, rakes, lots of rakes.

I am really digging the Runner. It just clicked and felt right from the moment I sat in it.

I love the HH2 and have a few laying around here so I figured I would sell one to help fund the Runner, and some desperately needed new climbing line.

The BDB is a lovely tool and I owned one for well over a year, but it just wasn't for me. As for the Akimbo it appears that quite a few folks have come to the same conclusion you have. It seems like a killer tool, but finicky. I dont do finicky. Fuck that.

Rope runner is the best mechanical on the market bar none. Once broken in, it is so smooth. Think I will go give one of mine a spin.....

I guess I better not try a RR...... The BDB is the best that I’ve used. Midline attachable, adjustable (mine only with bollard changes) one you get it figured out, it’s pretty good. Never tried the Akimbo or RR..... ZigZag runs pretty sweet, but the links feel fragile, I want bulletproof.

I am not saying the Runner is better than the BDB. Both are amazing tools and I can completely understand anyone choosing the BDB over the Runner. We all know gear is a very subjective thing but for me the Runner does all the things that I need a device to do, and it does them beautifully. YMMV of coarse.
