What a bunch of (insert words here) they just tried to lift half a tree out of the backyard with the crane and brought all the axles of the crane off the ground...I can see why you guys banded together to shut them down and get them off TV

I liked watching it.I thought it was hilarious.Though i am glad it's not on anymore, for obvious reasons.I would like to know how a guy like that gets all that equipment and a t.v. show?

yea who knows...its just disgusting tree work

I just looked it up, dudes with no shirts on the job, "me drive big trucks". What channel was it on? I wish they would make a tv series about real arborists but for some reason the public only finds it interesting when "big machine cut down big tree du du du".

Tv producers prefer "colorful" characters instead of those who make it look routine and uneventful. Drama is a necessary element for watchable tv.

I have never seen anything like it. They do not have a clue what they are doing. And that chubby guy with the eagle on his helmet - he is screaming and yelling at his crew. In one episode he almost crush one of his climbers, when his old crane can't lift the top of a tree.
Horrible.
I am glad that ISA contacted them.

Hey guys,

I found out that name of the General manager at the learning Channel is Eileen O'Neill.

She is likely going to be the person that we need to complain to directly.

I also found out the way that they contract out the shows.

Typically, and I would guess this happened in this case, a person will shoot a show, then he will take the show to a distributor who then sells it to one of the television stations.

The television station will buy a license to air the show for a particular amount of time slots.

So the problem is, likely they have contracted out to show this program for a certain amount of times.

Anyway, if anybody can track down the e-mail address for Eileen O'Neill, she is the person that we need to speak with.

I am going to fire off an e-mail to these guys and include a link to this thread.

Y'all take care

Danielson

TLC. The Learning Channel. What a lie that is.

Check out "Toddlers in Tiaras". Puke.

What's the target audience for this show? A tiny cadre of narcissistic pageant moms AND EVERY PEDOPHILE WITH ACCESS TO A TV, PERSONAL LUBE AND A WAD OF KLEENEX.

You want to complain, complain about that.

Sorry to derail, but these creeps are a problem for me, and pandering to these creeps is a big problem for me...
