I was fortunate to find this one through a friend of mine, who also used him.
Some are definitely snake oil salesmen or just cheerleaders - one of the things I like about mine is that he currently owns four successful businesses of his own, all of which manage themselves with almost no input from him. To me, that’s a big deal.
My suggestion would be to interview a couple potential coaches, and ask them to sell themselves to you. They should be able to connect you to some of their clients who have done well under their tutelage, and they should have provable business successes of their own.
