Slideline - how do you rig trunk parts?

How do you rig trunk parts using a slideline?
I don't wan't to drop big trunk parts into the line, and thereby shockloading the system.

I have just browsed through the pdf-files about speedline on treebuzz, but I couldn't find the answer to my problem.
Any ideas???

Standard negative blocking to catch trunk sections. Mechanical advantage system or power winch to tension speedline. Lower out with rigging line to control descent. Same as with large branches.

Maybe be more important to use a low stretch rope for trunk pieces, especially as you get a lower speedline angle. Be aware of forces generated to tension speedline and lower out.

If you needed to reinforce the spar pole, you could clove hitch your speedline to the spar and run the extra end to the ground, opposite to the landing zone.

Any specific questions?
