Rope to use for liger bridge?

I was thinking of using a piece of Yale xtc as I have lots of that. I ordered a Tree Motion replacement bridge but I don't like how small it is in the Ct rigging plate hole. All these bridge failures have me nervous and I have read all the threads and never came across a solid replacement answer! Thanks in advance for any help.

I like the 16 strand climbing lines. They are abrasion resistant and cover dependent so you can easily inspect for wear!

look close to the 180 degrees bend test and its results.
and in the conclusion the last sentence is as good as gold.

Try to understand what gear you use for each situation and setup. As long as you don't understand the materials you can not make a safe judgement.

I have a "Liger" and a TM. I think if you bought a TM replacement bridge and put a pair of rubber stoppers (sometimes used with spliced bridges) between the stopper knots and plates you should be fine.

Thanks for all the help! I browsed through that link Treestyler and looks to be a wonderful source. I am trying to learn all that Ican bus some times I have a hard time finding what I'm looking for! Tree buzz has sped my progress immensely.

16 strand polyester as a bridge fiber would be recommended.

1/2" 16 strand always worked well for me on my BFII. I have a dedicated short hank just for making bridges. When I was climbing full time I would replace every 2-3 months. overkill but it gave me some peace of mind.
