Correct. I only have a lava lanyard and never used blue moon but I've heard people say they behave different...probably jus bs

Blue moon/poison ivy is a Yale Cordage rope with very distinct characteristics from those of tachyon/lava.

already stated but yes lava is the trade name for the sherrilltree brand of colours. This was purchased from sherrill and as the tag states it is New England Tachyon.

That's a bit high a price for that rope....maybe if it was brand new I would but you could probably find that length without a splice brand new for the same price or pretty close to it.

Price has negotiable room in it and no worries or harm done just giving you some background info. Also I'm happy to put a tight on on the other end of the rope if someone doesn't like the large factory splice. Tachyon on treestuff starts at 99cents a foot and this rope has had maybe a dozen climbs.
