Roof Rigging

After getting on top of the roof, I was pleased to see how close the leader actually was to the roof. Not as large as I expected it to be either, but still very big wood:

Last big rig...then time to chase some small dead with a smaller saw:

This job went well and it's always nice to have a technical job thrown in the mix every now and then! It's always a plus when customers go ahead and get the dead removed when they notice it, instead of putting it off for years of rotting.

Nice set of pics!

Agreed, the capital pic is capitol!

You have my boots on!

There are work at height rules that apply for edge work. Even without the rules, it's prudent to have your 'roofies' tied in when they work near the edge. Twigs and debris act like ball bearings.

Did i miss something? It looks like you lowered to the roof...then what? How did you get it to the ground?

Looked like a fun one.

I got the impression that some of the brush was lowered to the roof to then be thrown to the ground. And the logs were lowered to the ground from the tree. I didn't think the logs went to the roof. Did they?
