Rock exotica transporter

I have rings on the back of my climbing saw so the handles thing won't be a problem Mac. Just send it my wayand I'll test it out for you, lol.

I'm just tryin to give feedback and such, no sadism here. Much.

The thing is pretty sweet so far, I think the size difference with a lg caritool is a nonissue. Really like the action on the gate. Don't know what the price point will be, but it is hard to think it wouldn't be worth it.
 
There appear to be TWO, as per the photos on Treestuff, though they don't yet have ordering options so there's no way to tell how much each version will cost. How convenient that it appears Rock Exotica and DMM are both coming out with, essentially, the same tools, in the same colors, the same year.

This one, which is what Macswan appears to have acquired, is clearly non-locking:

...while this one appears to have a pushbutton and/or sliding locking feature, which I like the idea of an awful lot more than the twistlock that DMM's appears to have:

The top ends of the two versions are different, also...perhaps for easy ID from the perspective of the wearer?

It'll be interesting to see how this all goes...time will tell if $60 is worth it.
 
I don't have the non locking version anymore. I have had the locking version for a little while now and really like it a lot. I think sixty is worth it. It is something you are gonna have for years. I think the design is flawless personally. It's just what I need.
