RC3002 Dual Lowering device demo

Thank you Reg for posting the videos. They really show how great your lowering device works.

In time, people will realize what an ingenius piece of equipment the Dual Lowering Device is. Right up there with the GRCS AND Hobbs.

What I really like about it, is that it gives the rigger an option for an affordable device that both raises and lowers wood. Even though I own a GRCS, I REALLY like the way this device works!

Top notch video!

Would like to pose a suggestion for the locking off a line on the bollard.

The half hitches look a little clumsy.

Would it be possible to make a few figure 8's over the head of the bollard and round the fair-leads. Then securing with a half hitch. See Ashley 1611 and 1614.

Hey thanks alot guys

Ranger, yes most definitely.

Maarten if you mean the face of the bollard (where the stickers are) then yes, there are no sharp edges so I'm sure you are right.

I'll be away for a few days from tomorrow so unable to answer to any further queries for the time being. Thanks again

I also like how it can be mounted by one person. Pretty slick.

Yep. Excellent idea.

I looked at my GRCS and thought that we (GRCS owners) could weld a large ring on a GRCS to install a GRCS a little easier. It is possible to mount with one person, but it would be nice with the "Reg mod".

Jamin, I thought the same thing! This would free me up to get my climbing gear ready while my ground worker set up the GRCS.
