Rain slowing anyone else down?

This spring has been awful, seems it's rained 3 times each week for the last 8 weeks. Shuffling schedules, putting of the big jobs, getting rained out, waiting out thunderstorms...

Hardly any rain here! The heats getting to be a bit much ! Hey Nish we've used the Sena's in rain, sleet snow, freezing rain for over 3 years absolutely 0 issues, what are they doing ?

Horrific static sometimes; sometimes a microphone just stop working in the rain; once I just had to replace the everything except that battery unit after working through the rain. Today I was tied in by a highline on rotten oak with lean towards a house. Three guys on the ground, with one pulling with a truck. I needed just the right pull at just the right time and the Senas kept screwing up. Tomorrow we've got an emergency job and I'm wondering if they'll start working again. We'll just try to keep them dry, slapping on the helmets in the rain only when we really need them.

Possibly we stay out in the pouring rain too long. Imagine if you took your Sena into the shower, or submerged it in the bath tub.

Ha! If you don't work in the rain, well you simply don't work around here..... There is the old saying that the Eskimos have 100+ words for snow, well the PNW has 100+ words for liquid sunshine...

We have been blessed with little rain. However we moved from winter right into the summer heat. The last few days have been real nice. But not a lot of rain around here. I guess you have to just work in the rain!! If you can.

We've been working rain or shine unless there's thunderstorms and torrential downpours that reduce visibility to nil. It's slowed us down, forced us to rework the schedule and all that fun stuff. Often what was supposed to be a washed out day by the forecast turned out to be a brief shower or delayed storms until the end of the day. We dared it and won! Mostly...
