Quad Feed Rollers?

I'm interested in possibly buying a 2013 Bandit 1890xp chipper, but it has the quad feed rollers option. I spoke with a Bandit Rep, and he said that they discontinued the option because they found out that the extra set of feed rollers did absolutely no good, and just took up additional space and more parts to service. He said they thought that having the extra set of rollers would help pull in material better, but that did not work out how they thought it would- so they discontinued the option. I'd much rather have the supersized option anyway, but this is a clean chipper with low hours. It's been for sale for many months though, with multiple people I know taking it out on demos and deciding not to purchase. Anyone have the quad feed roller option? Thoughts and opinions on it?

I looked at one with quad rollers years ago.. for all the reasons the bandit rep stated above i chose not to mess with it. But if it's a good deal and runs well might be worth buying. It's not like the rollers are known to fail often

We had a 254 with the quad feed. Its best benefit was that it would feed bigger wood without having to lift the feed wheels. I think that set up is fine, and I would not be afraid to purchase with it.
