Who uses one?

The guys and I at work all have scabbards for our polesaws. To me it makes climbing with the polesaw much better. I just 'customed' one of the guys new scabbards for him. The stupid leather buckle attachment is replaced with a bar tacked piece of 3/8" bungee with a cordura chafe sleeve and the tether is 7mm acc cord.

This last picture is of my scabbard. Its not as fancy, but it works! I really like the Phoenix saw heads, and I like the brass snap on mine. The bungee is nice though, its very quick on/off and it holds the saw well.

Very smart, with the bungee over the hook.
That is going to save me some considerable agravation over the years. I stopped using a bare pole blade and hook many years ago for fear of killing a coworker or myself with a mishap and have been tetthering my pole and this is a nice fix.
Bonner, Thanks for sharing.
That biner is my favorite accessory biner if you haven't got one you are truly missing out! Small, snag free. light wt and easy to open and snaps closed/trustworthy.

Cheers

I just picked up one of the Ange l biners at REI (sorry Luke but I was in the store and it was yelling my name). It seems like a really solid accessory biner and will probably use more of them. Also, the small sized one would be a great key chain biner.
