Their 12 strand hollow braid sling rope is fantastic. It is so far the easiest to work into challenging splices, and it has the highest MBS. It seems to be a durable rope, but only time will tell now.

I have a few sections of the "ape" that ive spliced into slings and its held up very well. Feels good in the hand, firm but not overly stiff. Ill throw in another vouch for their hollow braid ropes as well, splice easy and super tough.

I’ve been looking at their stuff too. I have an older lanyard from them and will probably buy another one. US Rigging Supply and Pelican Rope is the same company. I was looking at some clearance items and rep sent me this link. Just passing it along. Most are odd lengths.

Thanks everyone. Ended up buying 300’ of 9/16 ape. Got a decent deal on it. I’ll check back in when I get some time on it

Please let us know if you get any hockling in the line when you use it. All the rope that has been manufactured in the last 10 years or so, hockles in lengths over 200' due to manufacturers outsourcing the fibers to cheaper made lines...from what I've been told.

Will do. After a few uses I like to milk my ropes. Climbing and rigging. Seems to help a bit with hockling. Not a cure all but it helps.
