Owl nest work on historic country estate

The site for this is amazing, it's a "farm" but in reality an historic "federal style" grand house with a gothic barn and extensive well maintained grounds and gardens. Turned out to be very sensitive for the family to even have me on the property. Everything worked out.

The owlet was injured when it fell from the nest, a wing and a chipped/broken lower mandible. It was with a rehabber for almost a week before it was ready to go back up so we were concerned that the mother was no longer going to the nest area in a big white pine. Good news is she returned and resumed care of her young.
