A new kid in town in Hawaii next year, the legacy of Ransom to try again next year. And the legacy of Mangoes.... well lets just ignore the absence of any such legacy. I too get to try again next year....to get into the Master's!

Over all a great day, warmest comp I've ever been to, T-shirts quite adequate. Volunteers did a stand up job. Thanks to Andrew Frederikse for setting up one heck of a sweet Workclimb. And a pleasure as always to meet up with old friends to tell war stories and lies!

Stuart, a guest from the UK, was a great treat to watch in a tree as well.
 
one of these days you guys will remember that there are women competing as well. i got an email from wenda li this morning, former world champ who has won ontario chapter enough times that she deserves mentioning (sorry dude, it's just true..), who will also be going to hawaii next year.

Sorry Kathy you're right, Wenda (a great friend and peer) did a bang up job. My neglect probably lies in the fact that in my mind I didn't compete against the women. Sorry 'bout that. A great turn out of women this year. Trish Lear suffered some bum luck in the Masters and missed out on a trip to Hawaii that she, due to her capability and talent, has every right to earn.
 
Congrats Wenda and Sean! Hoping to see you in Hawaii but New England's comp isn't until June... ooooo the anticipation!

Thanks for the mention mangoes it was a little bit of bum luck but it won't hold me back from showing my face again next year. In everything we do there is a positive lesson to be learnt. Oh and by the way, it's Leier. And good on ya Kathy!
