It's official. The Ohio Tree climbing competition will be moved up to accommodate sending a winner in march to ISA in florida!. We will be having it Dec 13th at Chadwick Arboretum (The Ohio State University). Yes you heard right Dec 13th. This way we do not compete with other events and can still get a comp off before frigid winter weather.

As chair I am looking for help!! Anyone interested let me know. I promise this will be fun event, plus we have some plans to keep you warm and send you home with something besides a t-shirt

Great timing, I was just asking around about the Ohio TCC date.
Count me in!
I like the idea of December before it gets frigid, pretty funny. I have to get used to the cold again, it has been a little while for me.

The 2011 OH TCC was held here.
This small park and the facilities are NICE !
I mean REALLY NICE !
 
Forms are up at Ohio ISA Website!!!! Sign Up!! Those who are interested in volunteering or judging let me know, Send me a PM with name and contact info and preferred event. This is going to be a good one! We have lots of prizes for everyone!
 
Prior to the climbers' and judges' meetings on Friday the 12th, there will be a free class regarding electrical hazards in trees, presented by Nelson Tree Service. The class will also provide 1 ISA CEU. Free, but you need to register ahead. Check the Ohio Chapter ISA website for registration. The class is from 2 to 3pm, and will be located in Jeffrey Park.

The chapter website checked on 12/2/14 http://www.ohiochapterisa.org states the competition is being held @ Jeffrey Park in Bexley, Ohio.
 
Just to clarify the Venue Is Jefferey Park Mansion in Bexley. We will be starting at 8 tomorrow to set up, we will still take any help we can get. Hope to see everyone there it will be awesome!!
