Oak Pruning - Hoppin on the timelapse band wagon

This was an nice white oak we pruned. Can't see too much coming off in the video but there was a good amount of deadwood up there. Mostly all handsaw work, but needed the 200 for a few bigger dead limbs. We also reduced a limb growing into a smaller oak.

I'm the first climber up, followed by Brad. Hes been climbing about 8 months now and learning pretty fast. I work mostly towards the camera, while Brad works out the back.

Great video! Were you climbing single line or double. Its cool to see the top flex when you do that limb walk.

I was on double rope. The lead I was tied into was long and skinny, making for some good flex. I went back and watched it again just looking at the top moving around. Kinda cool to watch it like that.

Wow, cool video. I wish I could set up such a thing. We did 18 large white oaks on a site just after Christmas. Oaks are a ton of fun to prune and run around in.
