Can anyone chime in please may sound like a dumb question. In my head I imagine being able to adjust the friction on this wrench would alleviate potential binding of your hitch? I adore my wrench and would prefer to use it 100% of the time but my hitch has been a growing issue normally tie a 4 wrap Michoacán tried three wraps twisted eyes and tried other hitches that don’t work out great also fighting the drag while on a descent ascent is annoying af so the end of the rant is I’m curious if this thing is legit and could help with that or is just another cool toy thanks all!!!

You got it, the point is to broaden the sweet spot between rope and hitch. The zk1 was fantastic for the same reason. The zk2, which most climbers use, is much more finicky in my mind. The flow combines the best of both, and makes room for a greater range of rope diameters as well. If I were you, I’d go for it. I’m mostly on mechanicals now, but when I use a wrench, the flow is the only one that comes out.
