Not WTB Med Harness anymore

Anyone running the Treemotion suspenders?

I was curious about them, never ever up purchasing as i felt an H-style would end up connecting to harness cleaner by using those dedicated points.. Moreover, i was curious to see if that D-ring was the same as the rated version on t-mo's & only anodized red to mean "no-go" because the harness isn't meant for PPE. (T-Berg uses red hardware to mean no-go, green to mean rated.)

But yeah, i just ended up buying a wicked shitty "Husky" pair from Home Depot. The straps arent static in their connection to the pads, thus causing the pads/h-frame to slide back & forth, up & down on the straps as i sit, stand & maneuver. They got these little cam clamps to stop the movement, but the clamps just aren't strong enough..

However... I will say.. i wouldnt climb without them.. not until i buy those underoos you posted or lose some gear weight.

Underoos?
Those are officially now called "Saddle Backs" so add that to your vernacular compendium.
You can use it in a sentence statement like...
"Yo, that saddle's got back!" :sorprendido3:
Ya know, for example.

You can get them in many styles, colors, sizes (if you need more back), and constructed from many different materials except leather.
We can't make them in leather or the frozen chicken in a box company (name starts with a "W") would sue us.

No to the TM suspenders. They got that wrong. I remember many disappointed posts. I have a beautiful well shape set of glutes. I need none.
Paul you're my go to on harness advice. (y) but now instead of harness envy I now have glute envy.
Did you grab one of those 2018s?

I like the sort of reverse 3 point attachment idea.
I have a set of "H" style suspenders that aren't too bad but they need a central connection at the chest.
"H" style harnesses are just a tangled mess.
Would like a reverse "Y" style that doesn't pinch your neck, without a big padded area at the back (heat zone), without the added weight of a dorsal connection point, and a good versital but small connection point for tending at the chest.

Can anybody point me to one?

What i did for a chest point on the Cheapo Depot too belt suspenders is, i snagged a chest connection off of an old Oakley back pack i had kicking around. I just secured it through some existing daisy chain that was built into the suspenders so it wouldn't float up & down..

It's not the most "factory/professional" setup, but at the same time i wouldn't climb without it again & i only have $20 into it..
