Dujets Tree Experts is selling its firewood business for FREE, located in Passaic county NJ. Can use Dujets clients and store the firewood on Dujets property. The catch is that you have to get rid of the wood that we bring in from tree removal jobs. Potential to do 300+ cords a Year.

If it was that easy I would retire. Just to let everyone know there are going to be 37+ DBH pieces that are going to have to be split. Plus the wood has got to be split as fast as it comes in. Don’t forget Insurance (WC). Wood disposal fees are killing me I need someone motivated to keep my yard clean.
 
That’s why I said Potential to do 300+ cords a Year. But in the 80's and 90's we did around 600 a year, the market is there (especially with the price of gas now).
 
No biomass plants in NJ and taking it to the sawmill is not an option either (most of the logs are not sawmill worthy). I think PA has biomass plants, but don’t they have to be woodchips. What do you do with your wood Bostonbull?
 
cuttonwolf, you would be surprised in the interest in firewood all of a sudden with the rising fuel costs. More and more people ask me everyday. If I had the big onions and excess capital, I would open a wood stove/insert store.
 
the company i am employed by has about 200 cords already split. i saw the early demand for firewood at the beginning of the season and then the rather mild winter saw a slacked demand rising fuel is one thing milder and milder winters are another
