New helmet-ct arbor x or kask super?

I'm tired of wrestling my vertex 2 several times a day to keep it fitting my head. Considering either the kask super plasma or the ct arbor x set up. I have read about foam vs suspension being very warm and potentially stinky, but I can probably deal with that.
Any body have any experience with the CT helmet in comparison to the kask? I definitely like the price tag on the CT, but that is not necessarily the deciding factor-my grandfather used to always say "it only costs a little more to go first class."
Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I ordered a petzl and sent it right back for a kask. Quality seems better and u usually get what u pay for. Fits snug and stays that way and I don't the warmth is anything to complain about.

I tried the kask on once. They fit really nice. Still wear my petzl vertex vent. I think I heard petzl is coming out with an updated version soon?

Thanks for the feedback. I really liked the first version of the vertex. I think I set the size once when I first got it and never had to mess w the dial again. With this new two dial system I have to adjust it everyday throughout the day. A real pain. Hopefully they can solve that one.
Anybody on the arbor x helmet?
Thanks

funny i just got that arbor x helmet. only thing is i always just used a husquevarna forestry helmet, even for climbing. really like the helmet tho. light, breathes, gets as snug as a i need on my dome, and i can wear a lid under it pretty comfy if i want too. good for the $$ if you ask me

The Arbor X is a Kask Clone.

It is lighter but lacks the the two-part suspension of the Kask. The visor has a bit better clearance for wearing glasses underneath it and offers a neat side profile and coverage.

That being said I think the Kask is a better helmet. It does however loosen as the day goes on but it tightens easily. You should get some of the Kasks that RopeTek puts together with the wireless two way intercoms built in!

Yea bonner those look pretty slick. I can see how they would come in handy that's for sure. Thinking to go with the kask after all and be done with it. Just my luck treestuff has 15 percent off kask right now too!
Thanks guys for all your advice
Jon
