New Hampshire’s Big Tree Workshop

Scott the workshop was fantastic. There were people from all walks of life with a love for trees.

There was one arborist but he wasn't a climber. They measure trees with a clinometer from the ground, but I would prefer to actually climb and measure them.

The morning session was a Big Tree Program overview along with a hands on tree id class.

In the afternoon we went bushwacking out in Quincy Bog in Rumney and after an hour we discovered two new County Champion trees! One was a Pitch pine and the other was a beautiful Tamarack.

Met many new people that day and became a member of The Big Tree Program. All in all an awesome day!
