Hello folks,
I am very excited to be one of the instructors for this event.
• The venue looks absolutely beautiful and some great specimens to climb.
• The sponsoring organization puts on some phenomenal events.
• The instructors are top notch.
• Tons of “new” toys to try out.
• The price point is budget sensitive.
I hope to see as many “buzzers” as possible at the event.

Donny

How flexible is this event with regard to folks who are new to SRT vs. folks who have some experience? In other words, would someone who is fairly well-versed still benefit by attending?

Thanks,

Josh

Hey Josh,
I would think so. There may be topics that you have seen before and there may be things that are brand new. For me it is always the time shared between the folks that is priceless. Maybe someone does something just a little different. I can always find an "ah-ha" moment in every training that I attend or instruct.
My hope would be to have some time (after the alotted time) each night to go over items that folks want to share or need more clarification.
This is just my two pennies!

Donny

I would hope to see you there. I'm sure you have some stories to tell working in NYC.

Donny

That's awesome that three of you crew are coming. Maybe we can get another one later in the year for more advanced SRT climbers?
Stay safe!
Donny

I excited to be a part of the instruction team, as well, along with Donny and Chris Girard. This is going to be a great event for both seasoned climbers, AND those new to SRT.

The two available options are great for many reasons, though here are just a few...

~ Option 1 gets you all the goods! Learn new approaches and even share your own ideas in a SRT-friendly environment, while climbing in some of the most beautiful trees on the East Coast at a gorgeous location!
~ Option 2 (first day only) will be ideal for business owners/crew supervisors, etc, to get a bird's eye view into the world of SRT climbing. Anyone who's been unsure about climbing SRT, or unable to find the time to practice, or even deciding whether to implement it within a company or crew, can leave with enough information and resource to ensure safe and efficient climbing.

This event is for anyone interested in SRT, whether you're a production tree worker or recreational canopy camper.

DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!

I feel the same way. SRT is such a new concept to tree work and new products are popping up daily it seems. That's why this course will benefit climbers both new and experienced to SRT work. Who knows what we'll see by the time the workshop comes around? I've been climbing SRT for many years and I'm still learning new things.

I always pick up new things when I attended a workshop, whether I'm teaching or participating and I can guarantee that everyone here will do the same.

I'm so looking forward to being one of the instructors with a bunch of great climbers and look forward to passing on some pretty cool things to others.

Hey folks,
I truly believe that this training is going to set a standard for SRT trainings. There is a ton of planning and prepping going on as we speak. The list of manufacturers wanting to participate is growing by the day.
The agenda for the two days is packed full of great info and the instructors are top notch in my book. I am already pumped for this event.
