NE Ice Storm Debris

Hey All,

Just wondering how the debris from the Ice Storm is being handled?

Is it being stacked roadside for Pickup buy municipal/state arranged crews like after hurricanes? Or are the individual tree crews taking care of it like a normal job?

If the former, any idea how long they will be allowing folks to leave debris roadside?

If the latter, how many dumpsites have been set up?

From what i heard from my fellow co-workers is it all gets stacked by the side of the road. They have dump sites that can be used as well. The hours have been extended due to the high demand of a place to dump.
Now this was all prior to this last snow storm of Friday. I am not too sure how they are handling it now.
( This is Worcester that I'm talking about, I'm not sure about NH or VT. )
 
Debris all over the place up here in Worcester Ma. All debris to the street. Contracts to pick up. I heard through the grapevine that all contracts have been stopped because of the storm and also the holidays. Will start again soon. WORCESTER DEBRIS is in a quarentine zone because of the Asian Longhorn Beetle problem. DO NOT move it out of the Q zone. Heard rumors of 3 companies having "problems" because of this. Also 24" of fresh snow has really put a damper on things. I have work for a few days, but am looking for more if anyone knows of anything going on. I have a bucket truck and saws etc. no chipper though. if you have any leads I would be greatful. Also I am willing to go anywhere in NE if we can work out a deal. Thanks Don 941 716-3499
